The Generic interface consists of 3 areas:

1. Dimension Line
   • Used to filter the data from each dimension in the cube
2. Display Area
   • Shows the data from the cube in a familiar spreadsheet (crosstab) format.
3. Toolbar
   • Used to select different displays (crosstabs, charts), limit the number of rows and columns in display, swap rows and columns in display, apply suppression, prepare a bookmark in your browser, export data for use in other applications (e.g. Excel), and print your display to Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format.
